Firstlight instructor Skeeter Hagler is a Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer, winning the prize for a series on the lives of the modern day Texas Cowboy. Photographs from the Texas Cowboy series have appeared in books and magazine articles around the world.

Skeeter's Pulitzer will soon be part of HBO's 8 part miniseries on the stories behind the Pulitzer winning photographs. HBO and an Emmy winning writer/producer team will be dramatizing Skeeter's Cowboy series using leading actors and a prestigious director.
In his 34th year as a photojournalist, Skeeter is currently an assignment photographer in the editorial, advertising and corporate world, covering assignments for clients ranging from EDS Corporation to Budweiser
